Getting around is easy and convenient.

Holiday Inn San Juan is located a mere mile from the airport, where taxis are available.  The fixed rate from the airport to the hotel is $11.50.  The luggage rate is $1.00 per piece, excluding hand pieces.

Likewise, taxis are easily available at the hotel, day and night.

On wheels!  Look out for ‘taxi galeria’ a project designed to put the work of local Puerto Rican artists on taxi cabs, with the support of local art galleries.  The eye-catching designs range from an expressive abstract by Guggenheim fellow Rafael Tufiño, locally known as the ‘Painter of the People,’ to the graffiti art of Carlos Dávila Rinaldi, whose bright yellow tag boasts red lips shouting "taxi!"

If you are driving from the airport, directions to the hotel are quick and straightforward:
Leaving the airport keep right, heading west; you will see the following sign: “26 Oeste / Isla Verde / San Juan.”   Soon after, make a right turn at the sign that reads “187 Loiza / Piñones.”  After approximately a quarter of a mile, turn left at the sign: “37 Ave. Isla Verde.” Continue down this street for approximately half a mile, then turn left on “Tartak Street” (immediately following a strip mall with a Burger King).  You will come upon the hotel a few hundred yards down on your right.  ¡Bienvenidos!  Click here for map.
