Pool

A beautiful free-form pool with a soothing Jacuzzi where you can relax your muscles and calm your mind with hydro massage.

The pool is surrounded by lush vegetation and adjacent to the outdoor dining terrace of Eighty20 Bistro. 

Poolside Pleasures
You are soaking up the sunshine and cooling off with an occasional dip in the pool...it does not get any better—unless it is Saturday or Sunday, when a certified massage therapist from local Body Healers offer relaxing massages by the pool at modest fees. 

The pool area is also the venue of the Medalla Light Weekend Fest, an all day 2-for-1 happy hour every Saturday and Sunday that features Puerto Rico's local brew, Medalla.

The Coolest Place

Our youngest guests (and the young at heart!) can enjoy the Water Spray Park located the hotel’s expansive pool area.  The Spray Park has seven different water features - from umbrella domes showering down, to high water buckets keeling over, to deck sprays spouting up, and a wheel of water jets in continuous motion! Kids can splash and play on the water deck while parents bask in the sun around the pool or relax in the warm Jacuzzi and enjoy food and drinks from our Fantasia Café.

Rock Band Nights

Live out your Rock-and-Roll fantasy at Coladas, in the lobby of the hotel.  Whether you come ‘solo’ or with a band of friends or relatives - and you are experienced or a newcomer - you can try out the genre-defining, cultural phenomenon Rock Band II.  Presented in conjunction with BestBuy, Rock Band Nights is rocking down the house every Tuesday, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm, with 2 for 1 happy hour on ll appetizers and local beer. 

Our Treat!

Join us at the Managers’ Reception, Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, in the poolside terrace.  Enjoy a selection of complimentary appetizers and open bar, while networking with fellow hotel guests and members of the Holiday Inn San Juan team.

(Fitness) Room with a View

A wing of the eighth floor at the Holiday Inn San Juan is now a stylish rooftop space that houses a new fitness center and self-service business center.  Surrounded on three sides by an outdoor sun deck that is perfect for small cocktail parties in the evening, this new area offers spectacular panoramic views of the Isla Verde area, the beach, and the San José Lagoon.

WHEN SUNSET GIVES WAY TO THE ISLA VERDE NIGHTLIFE

The Holiday Inn San Juan has three signature restaurants with bars - for dinner, drinks, or dinner AND drinks:

At night, Eighty20 Bistro morphs into a trendy bistro, South Beach style, offering fusion dishes inspired by classical French cuisine, with Caribbean and Oriental flavors.

The first Puerto Rican eatery to become a signature restaurant for a major local hotel.  Coladas’ menu offers traditional fare that may be enjoyed indoors, in a setting reminiscent of an updated 70’s tavern – or in a shaded veranda that allows you to sit outdoors as the sunset gives way to the Isla Verde nightlife.  In honor of its name, the restaurant features an extensive menu of signature fresh fruit frozen coladas: Passionate Parcha (passion fruit), Sexy Razz, Sunset Tamarind, and Tango Mango, to name a few.  On Tuesdays, all appetizers and local beer are 2-for-1, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Sip traditional Sake or a chilled Sapporo beer as you peruse the eclectic menu of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Korean fare.  Popular among visitors and residents alike, J.H. Yee’s is proud winner of the 2005 Chef's Hat Award presented annually by Tables Magazine.
